i recently picked up one of my "most wanted" cards - a 2023 panini donruss duke snider card
from the diamond kings subset. it was on my nefarious nine list because it was a card that i had a parallel of (holo purple)
but not the base which is an annoyance to me.
the card reminds me of the first time donruss included snider in a set, way back in 1984
I'll always treasure my collection of Donruss puzzles from the 80's and early 90's. It's one of those things that I didn't value when I was opening up packs back then, but these days they have high nostalgic value (to me).
ReplyDeleteI remember the puzzles very well, but for some reason I don't recall the Duke Snider one -- which makes me think that that was one that I never completed, or likely even ever owned any pieces from.
