brooks is here, again

i added another brooks robinson autographed card to my collection with his 1966 subset card from 2004 upper deck legends timeless teams
this one is not short printed like the other two in the set, of which i have the one that has 100 copies out there but not the one that is limited to 35. maybe someday!

today would have been robinson's 87th birthday had he not passed away last fall. i'm still hoping to find a card that shows the memorial patch that the orioles wore in his honor during their short postseason run last year, but having another certified autograph of the greatest defensive third baseman in history in my collection isn't exactly chopped liver.

    Timeless Teams is a terrific set with some cool autographs.

    Whoa. Having autographs limited to only 35 would make building this autograph set super challenging. Are you building it? Or just chasing down specific teams and players? If you are, how much of the set do you have?

      i'm not making a serious run at the autograph set, but i will pick them up if the price is right. right now i have 172 of the 300 cards, plus a few more that are exclusive to my dodger collection.
