roger over and out

i am assuming that it was because he had a penchant for sitting out part of the season and making a return in time for the pennant run that i ignored roger clemens' 2008 topps card when it was released.

as it turned out, clemens did not return to the mound in 2008, nor in any subsequent season, meaning i have another card to add to my final tribute collection.

those are some big numbers on the back.

luckily, no one else wanted this card and i was able to pluck it from my sportlots store inventory and move it to the final tribute binder.  clemens has a couple of other 2008 cards that could fit the final tribute bill - upper deck premier, upper deck goudey, and upper deck sp legendary cuts - but i'm ok with just the one in my collection.
