the almost daily dodger - albert pujols

here's today's featured card, 2021 bowman's best albert pujols:
remember when pujols played for the dodgers? to quote chris farley from his interview of sir paul mccartney, "that was awesome".

i was happy to see pujols seemingly rediscover his home run swing as a dodger, and i appreciated seeing him in dodger blue and get some dodger cards in the process. still, he was an "out of place guy" and it made sense that he would finish his career in st. louis.

    I already find myself forgetting that Pujols was a Dodger. Definitely one of the better Short Term Stops in recent memory.

    Like Nick... I bet in five years I won't remember his time with the Dodgers. At least Topps captured him on cards to refresh my memory.

      i really wish they would dedicate an archives set to those players that they didn't recognize - like boog powell as a dodger or rocky colavito as a yankee (and a dodger, for that matter)
