the almost daily dodger makes its debut
i have a bunch of cards in my scanned folder that don't really have a tie to a predetermined post, so i decided this year to post one of these cards on days when i don't have a different post planned. i typically post on wednesday, friday, and sunday these days (although i posted yesterday which was monday), so this means (up to) four extra cards to show a week. make sense? this approach should generate a post every day, and these particular posts will be more in line with what i originally thought this blog would be - a more focused look at individual cards that i come across - "cards as i see them".
that is the jackie robinson ssp from 2023 topps big league. it is one of the gold foil cards that was at the scarcer end of topps' harebrained tiered checklist for what is supposed to be a lower end product. still, i sought one out (for relatively little money) so who's the fool?

Cool card. Just opened some packs of 2023 Topps Big League today. Didn't pull any of these gold foil cards though.
ReplyDeletethey are a tough pull for sure. i think i only got one red foil in my box and no gold. even with the tiered checklist, this was still a fun rip for me.
DeleteI like that you'll be posting more, but it's gonna be a lot more difficult for me to keep up with daily posts than it was with one every other day or two.
