that's a 1998 upper deck spx finite mark brunell card that i received recently from jon at penny sleeve for your thoughts (and other blogs). jon knows that i have a brunell collection and was kind enough to send the card (with some others that i'll show off in a separate post) a few weeks ago.
i haven't added to my brunell collection in quite a while, but i do have one of his cards among my most wanted non-dodger cards. at some point this year i would like to get the collection into tcdb.
even thought he's long retired, i'm still a fan - in fact i was hoping that the lions would win the nfc championship so that he would make a return to the super bowl (he's the qb coach for detroit). wait 'til next year!

I was rooting for the Lions too... but honestly had no idea Brunell was their QB coach. I did add his autograph to my collection a few years ago though, because he's a lefty.
ReplyDeleteI just looked up how the Lions fared this past season, and wow, they did really good for the Lions. Hopefully, for their long suffering fans, they'll be able to build on this past seasons success going forward.
